Texas Maxillofacial Surgery Financial Policy

It is our goal to provide you the absolute best care possible at the most reasonable cost. As such, payment is due at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, our office accepts a wide range of payment options including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, and personal checks with a valid driver’s license. We are also happy to provide financing options through CareCredit.

For Patients with Insurance

As a service to our patients, all appropriate insurance paperwork will be filed. However, insurance coverage does not relieve the patient of financial responsibility nor suspend payments until the insurance has paid. Every effort will be made to closely estimate your copayments and deductibles, which are due at the time of service, but the ultimate responsibility for any unpaid balance falls upon the patient. Any accounts left unpaid 90 days after billing will be placed with an outside collection agency.

 

We recommend following up with your insurance provider to ensure that your claim is being processed. If your statement does not reflect your insurance payment, please call our office and we would be happy to discuss this with you. Any refunds due to overpayment, if processed through CareCredit or dental fee plans, will have less the service charge applicable.

Insurance Information

In an effort to assist our referrals and patients, we provide a list insurance plans we are in network with. We accept the vast majority of PPO networks listed below. We only accept PPO plans. We also participate with other PPO insurance companies and discount plans that are not listed. Please contact our office for more details. 

We are not in network with Medicare/ or Medicaid (including supplemental policies).

Any charges not paid by your insurance carrier will require payment in full at the time services are provided or upon notice of insurance claim denial. Regrettably, once a claim has been denied for non-covered services, our office will not file appeals or narratives on your behalf.
